About Bilal

Bilal Kaiser is the Founder & Principal of Agency Guacamole.

After working on the brand-side in marketing, public relations and social media roles at various top companies, from Sony Pictures Entertainment and L'Oreal to smaller organizations and non-profits like Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles and the Television Academy, Bilal created Agency Guacamole in 2016.

Bilal has built a career around launching global campaigns, shaping narratives and elevating brands across categories, and his leadership has won both him and Agency Guacamole awards from the Public Relations Society of America, Bulldog PR Awards, Hermes Creative Awards and the Muse Creative Awards.

Industry organizations, brand teams and non-profits often invite Bilal to share his knowledge and speak to a broad range of audiences about developments in the business.

Outside of marketing/communications, a topic that is near and dear to Bilal’s heart is diversity and inclusion in the beauty and lifestyle arena. Bilal is committed to creating a welcoming space for everyone and launched the B.L.N.D.: Beauty, Lifestyle & Nurturing Diversity initiative in New York to build a forum for industry conversations to take place.

Since its start in 2018, B.L.N.D. has become a bi-annual, bi-coastal event that brings together industry leaders from various backgrounds and, through a panel moderated by Bilal, asks them to talk about diversity and inclusion behind the scenes and externally, and how we can help the future generation of industry professionals feel more welcomed and supported in their careers.

When he's not busy running Agency Guacamole or holding space for voices that may not always be heard, Bilal teaches digital and social marketing courses at UCLA Extension, USC Annenberg and General Assembly. Fun fact: Bilal once did a two-week residency in Beijing, China, on behalf of UCLA Extension, and taught budding marketers all about digital/social campaigns, content development and marketing plan fundamentals.

Bilal lives in Los Angeles with his human and furry family where he loves to binge watch TV shows and work on his garden. An avid globe trotter, he looks forward to traveling the world again post-COVID-19.
